Help us continue to fulfill our mission

With your support Hospice Care Corporation, a 501 (c) (3), non profit organization, has stayed true to its mission of serving the terminally ill and their families in North Central West Virginia since 1983.  Most likely, we have cared for someone you know or love over these past three decades.  And, it is individuals like you who support our work so we can continue to provide the gold standard care that your loved ones deserve.

You may not know but unlike other hospices, we are an Open Access hospice that is known for high acuity hospice care in the home or wherever the patient resides.Being an Open Access hospice, pediatric patients, complicated diagnoses and palliative care treatments are referred to Hospice Care Corporation by hospitals because we excel in these areas.   And, it is a known fact among our referral sources that we do not accept patients based on the cost of their care, but solely on their right to receive it.

We are free standing, community based, non-profit hospice serving this area.  That means we are not backed by a large, out of state, corporation with shareholders or owned by a large hospital system.  We are owned by the communities we serve here in North Central West Virginia.  So, every dollar we raise stays right here in the 12 counties we serve.

Your generous contributions could benefit one of your neighbors, friends or relatives through receiving care at home or at our short term high acuity Regional Inpatient Unit.

We are community centered, community driven, locally run and invested.  Your contribution also allows us to provide education, and outreach through free bereavement support with its Camp Nabe and Transitions, a center for grief and loss as well.

There are many ways that you can contribute, so please consider your generous gift now while the 2012 federal income tax environment is still quite favorable.  Help us make a difference today and for years to come.  Click here to donate now or for more information about how you can make a difference, please contact Cynthia Woodyard at cwoodyard@wvcaring.org or call 304-212-8347.
